Located in downtown Toronto, the University of Toronto St. George campus is open to the public to visit.

Transportation

There are a variety of ways to get to and travel around U of T’s campuses.

Before coming to Canada, we recommend that international family and friends of students stay up-to-date on guidelines concerning COVID-19’s impact on travel and campus life at U of T.  

If you are outside Canada, you may be required to obtain a visitor visa or other immigration-related documentation before visiting your student at U of T. Your student may be able to support your visitor visa application process by providing a letter of invitation and proof of their enrollment. U of T students may download a Confirmation of Enrollment Letter directly from their ACORN account.   

There are a variety of ways to get to and travel around U of T’s campuses.

Two of the public transportation options accessible via U of T’s St. George campus are Go Transit/Metrolinx (GO) and the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).

U of T operates a Campus Shuttle bus for individuals traveling between the Mississauga (UTM) and St. George (UTSG) campuses. For more information about the Campus Shuttle, please visit the Transportation Services website.  

Information regarding on-campus and close-to-campus vehicle parking and bicycle locker locations, parking permits, at U of T St. George Campus can be found through the U of T’s Transportation Services website.

Billy Bishop Airport and Toronto Pearson are two airport options close to U of T. The TTC’s bus, streetcar or subway options may be used to transfer from Billy Bishop to U of T St. George campus. The Union Pearson (UP) Express train and TTC Airport Express Bus may be used when transferring from Toronto Pearson Airport to U of T.
